Patron saint of apostles of Divine Mercy, priests, confessors and spiritual directors, and all who suffer trials
Blessed Michael Sopocko Novena (Apostle of Divine Mercy)
Blessed Michael Sopocko (1888-1975) was a Polish priest, professor, and the confessor and spiritual director of St. Faustina Kowalska. At Jesus’ request, made known through her, he had the first image of the Divine Mercy painted and worked tirelessly to spread the message of Divine Mercy. Pray this novena for patience and perseverance in your trials, for priests and confessors, and for the favor you most need.

Dear Jesus the Divine Mercy,
You Yourself chose this priest,
Bl. Fr. Michael Sopocko,

He did this and everything You asked of him,
not seeking any credit for himself.
I ask You now to give him credit
for all his work
and ask the Father
to raise him to the glory of sainthood,
where he may intercede for all of us,
asking the Father once again
to show His unending Mercy
in our difficulties and despair,
that we may find the answer to our problems
and find peace in our lives.
Amen.
