St Lydwine (also called Lidwina, Lydwid, Lidwid, and Liduina of Schiedam) is a Dutch saint who suffered from chronic pain, likely multiple sclerosis. She is the patron saint of sickness, chronic pain sufferers, chronically ill, ice skaters, and the town of Schiedam.
