Answered Prayers From This Novena
Dear Beloved Friends of St. Therese,
Please allow me to share my miracle experience with you. Ten years ago, my middle school children and I prayed the daily prayer of St. Therese while I drove them to school each morning. We prayed it for 9 days. Our Lord, Jesus, has not forgotten.
One day, a new friend from a local exercise group shared with me about the Saint and her prayer. I was privately going through a very lonely and difficult time. The nature of my work and my home life was intense and isolating. The same friend gifted me a beautiful framed piece of art that was a quote from The Little Way. Although it was considered “unprofessional,” I hung it in my office where I saw patients daily. I decided to say the prayers for 9 days with my children hoping they would experience a real miracle. By the last day of the prayer I had forgotten about the miracle of white roses. I picked my children up that last day from their school and drove home. When we pulled into our driveway, I could see that a flower delivery had been left on the breezeway doorstep. Without remembering the prayer miracle, I walked around the corner of the breezeway to collect our delivery. At the moment I saw the bouquet of white roses on my doorstep, I almost fainted. I remembered the miracle of the prayer and so did my children! I simply could not believe my eyes. The flowers had been sent to me by another distant friend, a Jewish businesswoman, who lived in another city and had no relation to the friend who told me about St. Therese.
Several years later, a colleague visited Rome and bought me a small St. Therese laminated card that had her prayer on the backside in Latin. She said she was in the small shop in Rome and felt she should purchase the St. Therese card for me. I happily placed it in the corner of my mirror and it is still there today.
When I later moved from my city, I purchased a new home on the coast of Alabama. A few months later, the new rose bushes planted by the builder began to bloom. The roses that bloomed were all white across my front porch. Curiously, a single pink rose blooms from the white rose bushes each spring and fall. There are no pink rose bushes planted there. Every other bloom from the same bush is white, that is, the single pink rose is blooming from a white rose bush. I’m not sure what it means, but I know in my heart that it is related to that prayer.
Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ never forgets us or the prayers we lift through Him to our Father.
I saw this website and wanted to share this amazing miracle with you all to encourage you.
Many blessings to you from the coast of Alabama,
from K.D.
I would like to share our answered prayers from St. Therese.
Our family have been praying for almost a year for my son’s acceptance to medical school.
On June 15th, we got his acceptance letter from Loma Linda School of Medicine. We are truly grateful for her intercession.
We are such faithful devotees of St Therese that we even visited her hometown and her Basilica in Lisieux.
We also chose the Shrine of St Therese in the Philippines to celebrate our renewal of vows for our 25th Wedding Anniversary next year.
Thank you St Therese
from A.B.
I came across your link for novenas while praying the novena to St. Faustina.
And I signed up for your emails which I want to tell you have been enriching and encouraging.
I started to pray the novena to St. Therese of Lisieux, one of my favourite saints, and I was able to complete it.
The very next day I received very positive news about a property-related issue that we have been trying to solve for the past 4 years.
I am so grateful to God for His Goodness and Mercy, and I wanted to share this news with you for God’s glory.
I downloaded your app only yesterday and have now begun the novena to St. Jude.
I keep you, your family, and all people praying novenas with your app in my prayers. May it bear much fruit.
More About St. Thérèse
St. Thérèse was a French Discalced Carmelite nun who lived in the late 1800s. She has been a highly influential model of sanctity for Catholics and for others because of the simplicity and practicality of her approach to the spiritual life. Together with Saint Francis of Assisi, she is one of the most popular saints in the history of the church.
Pope Pius X called her “the greatest saint of modern times” while Pope St. John Paul II named her a Doctor of the Church (only the third female Doctor at that time).
