The New Intercede

The site looks different than it did a few weeks ago. Here’s why.

One Intercede, on the web and in your pocket

Until now, the website and the prayer app looked like two different products. We built the app around a single idea: praying a novena should feel less like a productivity workflow and more like opening a missal. The website, where most people meet Intercede for the first time, felt different.

Over the last few weeks, we’ve brought the two together. We wanted Intercede to feel authentically Catholic in every place you meet it — closer to a classic missal or liturgical publication than to a generic content blog. Sacred but approachable. Traditional but not archaic. Wherever you arrive — through a search for a saint, a friend’s shared link, or the app itself — it should feel like one place.

What’s the same

Every novena is where it was. URLs haven’t moved. The prayers, saint biographies, and answered-prayer testimonies are unchanged. This was a redesign, not a rebuild.

What’s next

A few more passes ahead, especially around how saints and answered prayers appear. If something feels off, we’d love to hear from you.

Thank you for praying with us.
