Day 1 Prayer

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Intro Prayer

O Virgin Mother of God, we fly to your protection and beg your intercession against the darkness and sin which ever more envelop the world and menace the Church. Your Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, gave you to us as our mother as He died on the Cross for our salvation. So too, in 1531, when darkness and sin beset us, He sent you, as Our Lady of Guadalupe, on Tepeyac to lead us to Him Who alone is our light and our salvation.

Through your apparitions on Tepeyac and your abiding presence with us on the miraculous mantle of your messenger, Saint Juan Diego, millions of souls converted to faith in your Divine Son. Through this novena and our consecration to you, we humbly implore your intercession for our daily conversion of life to Him and the conversion of millions more who do not yet believe in Him. In our homes and in our nation, lead us to Him Who alone wins the victory over sin and darkness in us and in the world.

Unite our hearts to your Immaculate Heart so that they may find their true and lasting home in the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus. Ever guide us along the pilgrimage of life to our eternal home with Him. So may our hearts, one with yours, always trust in God’s promise of salvation, in His never-failing mercy toward all who turn to Him with a humble and contrite heart. Through this novena and our consecration to you, O Virgin of Guadalupe, lead all souls in America and throughout the world to your Divine Son in Whose name we pray. Amen.

Answered Prayers From This Novena

Couple nights ago, after I read through the novena and the answered prayers, I said the rosary. During this time of meditation, I realized that prayers got answered in my life, too! I love being Catholic!

My husband’s aunts have been angry and ignoring each other for about 20 years.

I told my father-in-law that I would pray for them. Then, during this current novena to Our Lady of Guadalupe, one aunt found out that she was seriously sick and it may be fatal.

She called up the other aunt and they made up & talked on the phone for a very long time.

I knew that this was an answer to prayer, but I didn’t connect it with this special novena we’re saying until I read through the other stories.

Jesus, Mary, i love you, save souls! β™‘ You are so amazing! β™‘ I pray more & more prayers are answered to all who are saying this novena.

Thank you Cardinal Burke for all your hard work, God bless you!

from J.C.

This Novena has proven to be so powerful when said with confidence and sincerity! My dear sister, who left the Catholic Church 12 years ago, called me a few weeks ago. She never calls and usually just sends a periodic text message to update me on life since we live states away.

I have been praying this novena for conversion in my family. When my sister called, I answered right away thinking something terrible must have happened since she never calls.

After I said hello, She said β€œDon’t worry. Everyone is alright. I am calling to tell you that I have β€˜returned home’.”

She came back to the Catholic Church. She went to Confession for the first time in 12 plus years and finally once again was able to receive our Lord in the Eucharist.

Our Lady brought her back! Tears of joy have not stopped flowing!!

from C.P.

During the praying of this Novena for her intercession before, during, and after the delivery of my grandson, the labor and delivery went perfectly, as well as the perfect grandson and safe daughter-in-law.

Seems like a coincidence to most, but I know it is not just a coincidence. Thank you!

from P.T.
