Day 1 Prayer
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Intro Prayer
Christ be behind me.
Lord, I commit my failures
As well as my successes into your hands.
And I bring to you for healing the people and the situations and the wrongs and hurts of the past.
Give me the courage, strength, and generosity to let go and move on, leaving the past behind me, and living the present to the full.
Lead me always to be hopeful as I entrust the past to your mercy, the present to your love, and the future to your providence.
St. Augustine, pray for my intention in this novena (mention request here)
May God hear our plea and grant us the grace to accept His will in all things, through Jesus Christ, our Lord, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God forever and ever.
Amen.

Breathe in me, O Holy Spirit,
That my thoughts may all be holy.
Act in me, O Holy Spirit,
That my work, too, may be holy.

That I love but what is holy.

Answered Prayers From This Novena
Thank you for the St Augustine Novena The wording was elegant and clear. It allowed me to have a very directed intention.
I left my verbally abusive husband 2 years ago after being together for 30 years. I had been completely demoralized in the marriage, but I had stayed, praying always for God’s grace. God spoke softly to me allowing me to leave the relationship. Since then, I have allowed God to be present in my life.
My husband would not grant me a divorce, and it took the past 2 years to fight him in court. God has provided me with everything I need!
God has blessed me with a moral and tireless lawyer. People often ask me how I can be so calm given my ex’s terrible behaviour they have witnessed since I have left him. I know in God anything is possible.
I prayed the Novena, knowing God’s plan is perfect.
It worked! It looks like my husband will be signing the papers. I stood fast on my intentions and I will donate to my church the money I received in this divorce according to God’s will. I have total clarity in this plan as God’s hand is guiding it. I have shared with those around me how clearly I have believed and the calmness I have when I let go and let God.
Thank you for the Novena! God Bless You! Living in God
