St Juliana Falconieri, foundress of the Servite Sisters, was renowned for her burning love of the Blessed Sacrament. According to pious tradition, a consecrated Host miraculously disappeared into her heart as she lay dying. O glorious St. Juliana Falconieri, who from thy earliest years didst consecrate thy virginity to God, and who, inflamed with love for the suffering Christ, didst spend thy life in prayer, penance, and charitable works for the glory of God and the salvation of souls, look down with compassion upon me as I come to thee with confidence in this my need.
Thou who wast so devoted to the Most Holy Eucharist that, unable to receive thy Lord sacramentally in thy last agony, thou didst have the Sacred Host placed upon thy heart — obtain for me a deep and tender love for Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament, that He may be the strength and consolation of my life as He was of thine.
