Fall Release: Bookmark the Novenas You Love

Bookmarks are coming to Intercede in version 4.7. If you don’t see them yet, update the app once the new version reaches your app store.

Some novenas stay with us. There is the one we pray every year before a feast, the one a friend recommended, and the one we want to return to when life calls for it. Until now, finding that novena again meant searching a catalog of hundreds. Bookmarks are the feature you have asked us for most, and we are glad to bring them to you.

Save a novena

Open any novena and tap the bookmark next to its title, or use the ⋮ menu at the top of the screen. When you finish a novena, you can also bookmark it to find it again next year.

A bookmarked novena shows a red bookmark beside its title throughout the app. Your bookmarks stay with your account across your devices and last until you remove them. Each bookmark belongs to the language version you saved.

Find it in one tap

The Novenas tab now has three filters at the top of the list:

• Bookmarked shows the novenas you saved.
• Prayed shows the novenas you have finished.
• Popular shows the 25 novenas prayed most often.

Tap a filter to turn it on and tap it again to return to the full list.

See it as its date draws near

When a bookmarked novena is due to start within the next 14 days, it moves up in Recommended on the Today tab, so you can begin on time.
